The Active Wrap Back Ice Pack is is one of today's most versatile heat/ice pack for treating lower back pain. Constructed out of a medical plush fabric, this back cold pack is designed to be comfortable with all day use around the lumbar region, and is available in two sizes to accomadate most individuals. The fabric provides excellent insulation when being used for heat or cold application. The side panels are perforated for enhanced breathability and can fit up to a 54" waist circumference. The back ice pack comes with a large 7" x 10" gel that is vaccum packed and specially designed to not spread outward thus reducing effectiveness. The gel pack slides easily into a lined pocket to protect the skin from a cryo burn and will last 30+ minutes before needing to be reheated or cooled again. The Active Wrap Back uses durable hook and loop fasteners along the front edge of the panels to close around the waist. The back ice pack can be used for anything from back strains to lumbar stenosis. An optional recharge pack of two additional gels can be purchased for more easy shuttling of gels for patients requiring longer periods of use for their condition. This item is both washable and latex-free.
