The NEW ASO Flex Hinge Ankle Brace is the newest ASO ankle support design to come from Med Spec, the specialists in sports ankle brace design. These ASO braces are extremely supportive ankle supports that incorporate a semi-rigid stirrup design within the original brace. The ASO Flex Hinge ankle stabilizer is perfect for football and soccer where maximum protection with aggressive lateral movement and pivoting actions is required. This model is the most supportive ankle brace in the ASO line and is designed to provide the greatest degree of stability. 

ASO Flex-Hinge Ankle Brace Features:

• The Flex-Hinge has an upper portion that is an internal plastic shell which is incorporated into the eyelet lace closure to create an inner cuff around the tibia and fibula. This design helps to resist separation of the tibia and fibula, thereby treating syndesmosis ankle sprains (high ankle sprains).
• The internal plastic shell with hinge is built into a ballistic nylon boot. It flexes to conform to the anatomy of the ankle, which greatly enhances patient comfort and compliance.
• Figure eight nylon stabilizing straps and elastic cuff work in conjunction with the internal plastic shell to capture the calcaneus & resist inversion/eversion motion.
• Fits left or right foot.
