The Ankle Cryo Cuff is a fantastic Aircast device for providing cold treatment to relieve swelling and pain in the entire foot, ankle and lower leg.  The boot completely envelopes the entire ankle to provide patient-controlled compression and therapeutic cold.  The device can be used for recovery following arthroscopic foot and ankle procedures or for treatment of acute ankle sprains and foot pain.  The cooler holds water with ice and uses gravity to fill the ankle cryo cuff to produce the desired level of gentle compression to drive swelling away from the ankle.  It stays cold for anywhere from 6-8 hours before needing to be refilled.  The system is shipped ready for immediate use and contains the cooler, insulation disk, hose, and the ankle cryo cuff.
