Aircast AirHeel

The Aircast AirHeel is specifically designed for the treatment of plantar fascitis, achillies tendonitis, and heel pain from having flat feet. Using two interconnected aircells located under the arch and one behind the achilles tendon, the AirHeel cushions the foot, and applies firm compression with each step to help reduce pain and swelling as a result of achilles tendonitis. With each step, the first air chamber (under the arch) slowly collapses thus reducing the stress to the soft tissue under the arch. The Aircast AirHeel then forces air into the chamber surrounding the lower leg which then inflates. The inflated chamber applies compression over the tendon area and shortens the lever arm thus reducing pain.
