ACL Brace

The DeRoyal M.4 ACL Brace is an economical model designed to provide protection for patient's with moderate to severe knee ligament instabilities.  It features a wide well cushioned frame that provides a 3 point pressure relief system for the knee joint.  The malleable, Avional® aluminum frame is 30% more rigid than aluminum constructed models of the same weight.  The M.4 ACL brace is very lightweight weighing a mere 19 ounces, and has a patented Physioglide hinge that reduces slippage down the leg.  The mechanical movement of the Physioglide mechanism closely matches the natural roll and glide movement of the knee to create an ACL brace that stays in place.  All the straps are numbered to aid in the proper strapping sequence for the product.

DeRoyal M.4 ACL Brace Features:

• Physioglide® hinge features shifting of the inner and outer hinge plates (see diagram) lengthens the mechanism at flexion and shortens it at extension. This effect reduces brace migration.

• ACL brace is premolded to reduce torsional twisting forces on the knee and is 30% stiffer than conventional aluminum alloy designs of the same weight.

• Anti-migration condyle pad positioned above the medial condyle of the femur helps prevent the product from sliding.

• Soft grip padding material offers excellent patient comfort and is slide resistant to help secure the ACL brace in place.

• Numbered straps allow the patient to easily reproduce the correct fit of the brace.
